My Personal Favorite Web Sites

Periodically I will feature sites that I feel are extra special. These are the sites I find to be "must visits" and have earned the coveted Happy Planet Award.

In addition to recycling, I also try to make my purchasing decisions based on products with the smallest negative impact on the Earth. For me, this includes purchasing organic products made without harmful pesticides and chemicals, products produced without performing animal testing or cruelty, and products manufactured with fair labor and environmentally friendly practices.

Happy Planet Award Finding these products is not always easy. And often, product labeling is misleading or overstated. So when I read Adam Waters' Natural Skin Care Authority site, I was thrilled to find honest, in depth information on the best and worst skin care and beauty products. His fact based reviews reveal chemicals and toxic ingredients in products that I had always thought were, and are in fact labeled, "Natural". Adam has done all the work for me so that I can make informed decisions on the products I choose to purchase...and VOTE with my wallet.
